Membership is now open to all MCH Nurses (active or retired) or students currently enrolled in a course leading to practice in Victoria

Membership Information

The Victorian Association of Maternal and Child Health Nurses, invites you to become a member. There are two categories of VAMCHN memberships that encompasses Full and Associate memberships.

Full membership is for persons who hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as: Registered Nurse (Division 1) and Registered Midwife and holds an accredited postgraduate degree or diploma (or equivalent) in maternal and child health nursing.

Associate membership is for persons undertaking a course of study leading to a post graduate qualification in maternal and child health nursing or are retired from maternal and child health nursing practice; or are appointed Life Member by resolution of the Committee.

Note:

Life members, retired MCH nurses and persons undertaking a course of study leading to a post graduate qualification in maternal and child health nursing are all considered Associate members.
